About
About Nareseal Atlas
Nareseal Atlas is a free, openly accessible clinical reference library covering surgical and diagnostic instruments, conditions, and procedures, with a primary focus on ENT (otolaryngology). Every entry is written to be clear, cross-linked, and practical — built for practising clinicians, surgical trainees, residents, and students who want a fast, trustworthy reference rather than a wall of text.
Who publishes it
The Atlas is published by Nareseal. Our background is in surgical instrumentation — Nareseal is also the team behind Netcare Instruments — and two decades of hands-on work alongside ENT and surgical practitioners is what informs a reference like this. The Atlas itself is free, carries no paywall, and is written to be useful as a clinical reference first and foremost. Where the content touches on commerce, we keep it clearly separate from, and secondary to, the clinical substance.
Why it exists
Clinical reference material online is either scattered across dense textbooks and PDFs, or written for patients rather than practitioners. The Atlas exists to fill that gap: a connected, professional-grade reference where an instrument links to the procedures it's used in, a procedure links to the conditions it treats, and everything is cross-referenced the way clinical knowledge actually works.
Editorial independence & accuracy
Reference content is written to be accurate and useful first. Commercial relationships (such as the availability of an instrument from Netcare) are disclosed transparently and do not change the clinical substance of an entry. How content is researched, sourced, and reviewed is described in our Editorial & Medical Review Policy.
Help us improve it
We actively welcome corrections and clinical input. If you're a licensed clinician interested in reviewing content, or you've spotted something that's inaccurate or out of date, please get in touch — accuracy matters to us, and your audience is precisely the experts most likely to notice when something is off.
